About Us
Essere Designs, formerly known as Alron Urban Art Pvt. Ltd was established by Managing Director, Ajay Kanuga in 1995. Starting with interiors of residences the company has since progressed to doing large scale commercial projects. The team at Essere Designs believes designing a space is not about the designers but about the needs of the client and incorporating the functionality of design in their daily lives. Every client has their own perspective of design and décor, as designers our goal is to incorporate these ideas in our design by providing stimulating images of the final product adding colors, texture and providing spaces that would otherwise not be thought of. Interior Design is about painting on a blank canvas, the finished product of which is a reflection of the client’s persona, be it residential, offices, restaurant or bars…
Ajay Kanuga
An automobile enthusiast is a Science graduate and has a degree in Fine Arts, JJ School of Art, Ajay has always been attracted to design and remodeling. Starting his career, with hands on experience at Ashtabhuja Enterprises, he was involved in the remodeling and fabrication of automobiles, he then progressed to creating artifacts in various mediums such as fibre glass, mild steel, stainless steel, plaster of Paris (POP) and glass. A number of these items were distributed through well known commercial establishment in the city, namely Contemporary Art n Crafts, Napean Sea Road, Takete Maluma, Bandra (West), Westend – Central, to name a few… A natural progression from the fabrication of artifacts, Ajay ventured into interiors.
Monisha Rishi-Kanuga
She joined the Alron/Essere team in August 2009, having studied at Sophia Polytechnic, India and attained her Master’s in Interior & Product Design from Academia Italiana, Florence Italy, she has furthered added to her interior design qualifications with a Master Practioner Course in Feng Shui with Lillian Too, Malaysia. She started her career in interior design with designing of custom built exhibitions stands, at The Dubai International Conference & Exhibition Centre and later progressed to residential and commercial projects.
